Elizabeth was friends w/ famed wood sculptor/furniture maker Wharton Esherick & commissioned Wharton to design & build a custom one-of-a-kind floor-to-ceiling undulating fireplace wall that goes across the entire width of the living room from the inside through windows to the outside under a covered porch made of tapering Walnut, Poplar & Cherry wood.
