The District allows a wide range of manufacturing, assembly,processing, research and development, and office uses. Due to the pre-planned andcomprehensively designed nature of an industrial park and increased site design andaesthetic standards, Planned Industrial Districts can be located, built and operated witha minimum of nuisance and mapped in locations where other industrial districts may beinappropriate. Uses in the Planned Industrial District shall be served with adequatepublic or community water and sewerage service meeting Health Department standards.The Planned Industrial District is intended to be assigned to large single parcelsor an assemblage of parcels for planning, resubdivision, and development of acohesively designed industrial park with multiple lots, interior streets, and otheramenities.
